PeeringDB
PeeringDB is a freely available, user-maintained, database of networks, and the go-to location for interconnection data. The database facilitates the global interconnection of networks at Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), data centers, and other interconnection facilities, and is the first stop in making interconnection decisions.
Please add:
- Your Company
- Your Network(s)
- Exchanges where your network is peering
- Facilities where you co-locate and other may interconnect with your network
CNX is making extensive use of PeeringDB records to configure peering sessions at CNX. To ensure your session is configured based on your network needs, please add a PeeringDB entry for your Network and add the following settings:

IRR as-set/route-set | CNX is using this information to allow downstream ASN for your peering session | Add a AS-SET whois entry with your RIR (APNIC) and list all downstream ASN you wish to announce to CNX |
IPv4 Prefixes | How many IPv4 prefixes are you planing to announce | Configure the number of IPv4 prefixes |
IPv6 Prefixes | How many IPv6 prefixes are you planing to announce | Configure the number of IPv6 prefixes |
Allow IXP Update | CNX can automatically configure your exchange connection | Set to yes if you want CNX to sync your exchange configuration automatically |
